Overview

This Shipping Policy explains how and when custom glass products ordered through ToughenedLam are delivered. Our goal is to ensure your glass arrives in excellent condition, ready for installation or further processing.

All products are made to order and delivered Australia-wide.

Production Lead Times

Each order is manufactured to your custom specifications. Typical production times are:

  • All custom glass types: 35 to 45 business days

Delivery Options

We offer the following delivery options based on your location:

  • Metro Areas (Capital Cities): Direct truck delivery

  • Regional Areas: Local courier or freight partner

  • Remote or Difficult Sites: Delivery available by arrangement (may incur extra cost)

     

At checkout, you will be asked to provide detailed delivery instructions. If access is restricted (e.g. forklifts required, cranes, limited entry), you must notify us in advance

Delivery Conditions

  • Delivery Hours: Monday to Friday during standard business hours
  • Delivery Point: Kerbside or site entry unless otherwise arranged
  • Unattended Sites: Delivery will not be completed unless prior written approval is provided

 

Once delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to you. We are not responsible for glass damaged after delivery.

Shipping Fees

Shipping to metro areas is included in the product price.
Shipping fees for regional, rural, or remote areas will be calculated at checkout based on location and order size.
Extra charges may apply for:

  • Rural or remote area deliveries
  • Difficult-to-access sites
  • Changes to delivery once goods are in transit

Delivery Delays

We strive to meet estimated delivery dates, but delays can occur due to:

  • Weather or road conditions

  • Supplier shortages or production backlogs

  • Transport strikes or third-party logistics issues

     

We will notify you if there are any delays and work with you to find the best outcome.

Inspection on Delivery

You must inspect your goods at the time of delivery. If your glass arrives damaged or incomplete, you must:

  1. Note the issue on the delivery docket (if applicable)
  2. Take clear photographs of the problem
  3. Notify us within 48 hours via [email protected]

 

Claims made outside this time may not be accepted.

Pick-Up Option

Pick-up is available from our depots around Australia by prior arrangement. You will be notified once your order is ready for collection, along with pickup address and timing instructions.

 

Please ensure you bring suitable transport and protective packaging to collect custom glass products safely.
